 | Jorge Alabê - Percussionist An internationally recognized percussionist from Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Alabê is a top performer in the Rio samba tradition as well as an ordained master drummer in Candomblé (an Afro-Brazilian religion). One of the foremost samba players in the U.S., he is a source of tremendous inspiration and knowledge for the members of Samba New York! Jorge regularly conducts workshops for Samba New York!
